What Stillwatch is

Stillwatch is a personal show and movie tracker. You import or build a watch history and it stays yours: you can export all of it at any time from your profile, and you can delete it.

What we store

  • Your account: the email address (and optional profile photo) you sign in with. Sign-in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider.
  • Your library: the shows and movies you track, watch dates, ratings, lists, per-episode notes, and where-you-watched entries.
  • Your public content: comments you post (with any images you attach) and the display name you choose. These are visible to other Stillwatch users on the same episode pages.
  • Feedback: anything you post on the feedback board, visible to other users.

What we don't do

  • No ads, no ad tracking. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and anonymized: no cookies, no personal profiles, and visitors cannot be tracked across days or across other websites.
  • We never sell or share your data with anyone.
  • Following is opt-out, not hidden: your named activity can appear in the Popular feed and other users can follow you, unless you turn on Private mode in your Profile settings.

Services we rely on

  • Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database and image storage), Vercel(hosting). Your data lives in these services on Stillwatch's behalf.
  • TheTVDB supplies show and movie metadata (titles, posters, episode lists). Only the titles you look up are sent to it, never your identity.

Your data, your exit

  • Export: your profile page has a full export (CSV and JSON) of your library, watch events, lists, ratings, and comments.
  • Delete your account:the "Delete my account" button on your profile page permanently removes your account and everything attached to it (library, history, comments, images, feedback). This is immediate and cannot be undone.
